Organic Skin Care Tips for Any Skin Type

Believe it or not, there are many things you can do for your skin that are completely organic and natural, but some of the tips that people give you aren’t necessarily good for every skin type. Since everybody’s different, so is our skin, our PH Balance, and other attributes about ourselves. That’s why it’s important to try something in a small area at first according to However, in this guide, we’re going to give you some skincare techniques and tricks that you can do no matter what your skin type is, so you can reap some natural benefits using the simplest organic ingredients.

1. Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles

You can actually use chilled tea bags after you steep them. Tea is rather cheap, and you can simply steep chamomile tea, black tea, or green tea bags in some hot water, but only do it for about 30 seconds, and then sit them in a small bowl. You can put them in the fridge or the freezer, but if you put them in the freezer, you need to monitor them more carefully so they don’t freeze. After they’re cold, you can eliminate dark circles and puffy eyes, as well as eliminate bags under your eyes by leaving them on your eyelids from about five to fifteen minutes. No need to go buy a beauty product or a whole cucumber just to have to slice up to do this (although cucumbers work too!)

2. Raspberry Lip Balm

Raspberries are loaded with not only antioxidants, but they also have natural dye in them. You can actually get some of this and make your homemade lip gloss in order to make your lips brighter and healthy, and you don’t need much! One tablespoon of coconut oil can be heated in a pot (or even a cup) until it’s liquefied. Then simply mash four fresh or frozen (we recommend fresh of course) red raspberries and mash them until the mix is completely smooth. You can then toss the mixture in the fridge until it firms back up. Stir this mixture when you want to use it and smooth it onto your puckers or use a lip gloss brush. You can make this mixture every few days if you wish, or make a bigger batch, just remember to refrigerate it.

3. Coconut Water

You can actually hydrate your body and skin by drinking coconut water. It’s more than just a hydration thing for your insides as many people think. Drinking unsweetened coconut water and then drinking water throughout the day, plus eating hydrating foods throughout the day (like salmon, olives, coconut, watermelons, and more) can increase your hydration.

While these aren’t all of the skincare tips you can find out there, these are very simple steps that you can take to ensure that your skin gets that radiant glow, and you can help fight blemishes and even wrinkles by eating healthy and using organic ingredients to put on your skin. While you may want to rinse some things off, it’s also important to know that our bodies are made up of mostly water, so hydrating is one of the most important things you can do. As far as coconut oil, unless you’re allergic to coconuts, you can get many health benefits by using it externally and internally as it is high in medium-chain triglycerides that help our bodies thrive.
